For purchasers that are on Stamp visas (example: one Stamp 4 and their partner is on a Stamp 1), should that make any difference in buying a home?

There should be no issues in respect of the legal process of buying the property, but they may have difficulties in relation to the mortgage itself. How advanced in the mortgage approval process they are is key.  If they have API confirmation as to the lender's requirements in respect of their immigration status is also important to consider.
